Background

Ryan is a creative, results-oriented public relations and marketing professional who has worked on campaigns with Fortune 500 companies, handled media relations for a presidential visit and garnered stories with the likes of NBC Nightly News, USA Today and many other national outlets.

In addition to media relations skills, he has extensive experience creating and implementing market-specific campaigns that integrate interactive, advertising and special events to build brand awareness.

While living in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, he was recognized by the Triad Business Journal as a recipient of its 40 Leaders Under Forty award for his professional and community-related accomplishments.

Ryan's Passion for Places

Like everyone at DCI, Ryan loves to travel - in fact, his 2009 New Year’s resolution was to travel once a month.

Throughout the year, he managed to go to Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami, NYC (lived in NC at the time), Las Vegas, Cancun/Playa del Carmen/Isla Mujeres, Mexico and many other places.

By the end of the year, he not only had a ton of great stories to tell, but could also say he’d accomplished his New Year’s resolution.

Notable Results

• Developed and implemented a multifaceted social media strategic plan that utilized a blog, Twitter, YouTube. The plan enabled him to garner more than 4,000 Facebook fans in less than seven days.

• Implemented creative PR/marketing efforts that generated $15 million in donations, $2 million more than the fundraising goal.

• Acquired $4.8 million (ad value) of earned media in less than 15 months, generating more than 200 million media impressions.
